We’re excited to introduce a new rewards structure for OSM Lands! From now on, mapping any Point of Interest Land will earn you a direct reward of $0.90—no more hidden prizes, just direct rewards for your contributions.

 

What’s Changing?

  • POI Lands: Every mapped Point of Interest Land now grants a direct reward of $0.90 per map.
  • Minted OVRLands: These lands remain unchanged, offering High Value Rewards between $0.90 to $3 based on OVRLand density, as well as the chance to win hidden Treasure Hunt prizes up to $1,250.

Why Map? By mapping the world in 3D, you contribute to building a precise and immersive digital layer for augmented reality. Your efforts help create a digital twin of real-world locations, enabling remote experiences that are truly transformative. But there’s more—map2earn allows you to earn rewards for your mapping activities, providing direct benefits for your contributions.

 

Here’s a quick reminder of the ways you can earn rewards when mapping:

1️⃣ Major Prize Draw: Every map you make counts as a ticket to the $100,000 Major Prize Draw. A total of 500,000 approved community maps are required to unlock this prize.

2️⃣ High Value Rewards: Earn between $0.90 and $3 depending on the density of minted OVRLands.

3️⃣ Direct Point of Interest (POI) Rewards: Earn $0.90 for each POI Land you map.

4️⃣ Treasure Hunt: Hidden prizes ranging from $1 to $1,250 can be discovered on selected minted OVRLands.
